Your DPDP rights (India)

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you these rights - and we honor them for everyone, everywhere.

Your rights

  • Right to access: know what personal data we hold and how it is processed.
  • Right to correction: correct or update inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to erasure: delete your personal data.
  • Right to grievance redressal: have your complaints answered.

How to exercise them

The fastest paths are built into the product: Settings → Export my data gives you a copy, and Settings → Delete my account erases your data (deletion starts immediately and completes within 24 hours). For anything else, email hello@moveonfromyourex.com. Our grievance officer acknowledges every complaint within 7 days and resolves it within 30 days, as the DPDP Act requires.

Consent and age

We process your personal data only for the purpose it was collected - providing the product you asked for - and you can withdraw consent (for example marketing emails, or analytics cookies) any time, as easily as you gave it.

The DPDP Act treats anyone under 18 as a child whose data requires verifiable parental consent. To keep that simple, the product is for people 18 and older - you confirm you are 18 or older when you start a conversation or sign in.
