Discord moderator & community support
Welcome new members, keep the space safe and kind, point people to crisis resources, and help enforce our boundaries-first rules.
To start: Warm, steady, and comfortable holding a kind line.
Volunteer with moveonfromyourex
moveonfromyourex is a small, non-clinical breakup-recovery companion. We're looking for a few kind, careful people to help the community and the content stay warm and safe - support, not treatment, always.
See open rolesPeople going through breakups check in with each other in our Discord. A steady volunteer keeps that space safe, kind, and usable for everyone who shows up.
People find our guides at their lowest moments. A careful reviewer or researcher keeps 150+ breakup-recovery guides accurate, warm, and grounded in real sources.
Real volunteer work, honestly framed: genuine moderation, editing, and research experience you can point to. No invented titles, no fake seniority.

This is volunteer work - no pay, equity, or employment guarantee. It comes with real impact and our genuine thanks.
Volunteers are not therapists, counselors, or crisis workers, and you will never be asked to be. No diagnosing, no treating, no personal advice in a crisis. When someone is at risk, we point to local emergency services and crisis resources - every time, without exception.
